Holt's Baby Dedication

This past Sunday we dedicated Holt to our Lord and Savior. It was such a special time for us as a family. We promised before God, family, and our church to raise Holt in a christian home and to be examples of what is it to be man and woman of God. We chose Proverbs 3:5-6 as Holt's life verse. Our prayer is that Holt will come to know the Lord at a young age and seek Him always, in joy and in sorrow.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own
understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct
your paths.

 

Holt did great during the service. As Chad read the verse aloud to the church, Holt gazed up at Chad while he was reading. It was as if they were the only two in the room. It was a precious moment. After the service, we headed to our house for brunch. Magic Muffins catered the food and made the cake. It was delicious! It was a day I will hold very close to my heart forever.
