After Chad returned home from Glendale, we headed down to St. Thomas for some much needed R&R. The real reason we were there was to celebrate the wedding of our friends Chris and Katie who got married on January 15, 2011. Chad and I rented a villa with two other couples, Mary Louis and John Quinn, and Kate and Ben Bentley. We arrived late on Wednesday night and we enjoyed a nice meal at home that the guys cooked! On Thursday, we mostly enjoyed relaxing at our house that was equipped with a pool overlooking a gorgeous view of St. Thomas. We headed to dinner down the street at Sibs Bar and Grill. Friday, we took a road trip to Magean's Beach which made the top 10 list of the world's most beautiful beaches. It was certainly beautiful but a little overcrowded for our taste. We enjoyed a dip in the ocean then headed back to our villa to enjoy some peace and quiet. That night we had the rehearsal dinner at Tavern on the Water. Saturday we headed to Villa Ventana, a private home, where the wedding took place. The view from the villa was absolutley stunning! Chris and Katie exchanged vows at sunset overlooking the gorgeous view. Sunday we headed home back to the real world and 30 degree weather. St. Thomas was an amazing trip! We had such a great time with our friends and we certainly made a lot of memories! Congrats Katie and Chris!

Hi there,
I was doing a websearch on Villa Montana in St. Thomas, and your blog came up. We're considering renting the same villa in a few months, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask your opinion on the place. (Sorry - not sure you meant for the general public to be able to see your personal information or not. Don't worry I didn't read anything further than just the details on the St. Thomas trip) Anyway, if you don't mind sharing your opinion - I'd love to know if the villa was a good one?? Thanks, Denice
