Holt's Tube Removal

Holt got tubes years ago but one of them never fell out. We kept an eye on it for a little bit in hopes it would come out on its own but ultimately we had to go back in for a tube removal procedure. We wanted to do the procedure in the spring so he wouldn't have to avoid the swimming pool in the summer. They patch the ear and he couldn't get it wet for several weeks. The procedure still requires local anesthesia but when I say he was back in the surgery room for no more than 2 minutes I am not exaggerating. He did great! Officially tube free!
